Three seconds until the shell blows your hull. Six enemies on the Grid, some protected by shields, one charged with energy and about to blow up.
Two seconds. An item that increases the score multiplier appears. If the Pulse reaches the charged enemy the chain reaction will clear the grid, but you won’t survive this time. Quick, think!
One second. You set your path, a bit convoluted, but it will do, and your ship leaps forward, just a few milliseconds away from death. It slides through the Grid, through your enemies, through the powerup. Your score increases and you break your record.
More entities appear, one shoots a homing missile. Three seconds until it blows your hull…
Not so long ago, our galaxy was a lush and beautiful place where all kind of creatures lived in harmony. But it all changed when a terrible sandstorm, raised my misterious powers, dried all vegetal life out turning every planet into a barren land.
All hope seemed lost. The maddening drought could last forever! Fortunately, there was still a chance…
Tsuyu! A peaceful creature who had the ability to summon rain and thus bring trees back to life. Knowing that he was the only one who could stop this terrible situation, Tsuyu embarked upon a quest to reforest the whole galaxy, one planet at a time!
☆ Follow Tsuyu in a first journey that will take him across the Yakeraan planetoid system.
☆ Travel around 16 planetoids inhabited by Yaks, bull-like creatures that were once calm and nice.
☆ Tsuyu won’t harm any creature: his only goal consists on making it rain, and Yaks can’t be blamed for the drought. Moreover, Tsuyu is good-natured, nonviolent and well… quite small.
Meet Oddy Smog, nothing but a tiny bit of the Smog that Engulfs Everything. He used to be part of the System, but his desire for freedom pushes him to run away from everything he once knew.
Help him in his quest for a new life! Climb the entrails of the same machine from which the Smog erupts and free those who are still enslaved. Rumor says that there is a blue sky up there where the Smog is white?
“There’s just something endearing about Oddy, and you find yourself rooting for him to escape his smoggy pursue. (…) for randomly generated high score game enthusiasts this is one that’s not to be missed.” – TouchArcade
“This game scores on every level. Let me break it down: Graphics: AWESOME. Concept: AWESOME. Interplay: AWESOME. Aside from making my thumbs hurt from playing too much and too hard, this game touches on every level of awesome.” – AppSafari
“It’s a simple premise, and the result is a fun game that you can easily play over and over again. Swinging upward from gear to gear is great fun. It doesn’t hurt that the artwork is so gorgeous, or that the music is fantastic (…) Oddy Smog’s Misadventure is easily addictive.” – 148Apps
“Whereas those other games generally require you to simply jump from one spinning platform to another, Oddy Smog adds a good deal of difficulty and a bunch of different elements to really challenge the player.” – AppSmile
